RISE
Can the end of one dream give rise to another?

What a great night UFSC members had at the movie RISE on February 17, 2011. The movie was very inspirational and the dinner at the Pizza Factory was delicious! We had great prizes for the prize drawing and lots of club comraderie. Special guests of honor in attendance were Holly Cook Tanner--1990 U.S. Nationals Bronze Medalist & 1990 World Bronze Medalist and Jozef Sabovcik--1984 Olympic Bronze Medalist. A big Thank You to RISE Fundraiser Committee members Sherry Jarvis, Jeanie Aylor, and Veronique Eliason for all their hard work putting this together!

Don't forget to go to the RISE website and redeem your RISE ticket stub for a RISE collectors pin, commemorative ticket and a special RISE edition of SKATING magazine

Utah Figure Skating Club
Service Project

tree2.jpg

Club members and parents of the Utah Figure Skating Club designed, decorated and donated a nine foot Christmas tree for the Primary Children's Medical Center's Festival of Trees (November 28 - December 1, 2007).  Our tree was called "Skate For The Dream."  A big thanks to all the volunteers who participated in this wonderful and worthy community service project.  Our service project was featured in the January 2008 issue of USFS Skating magazine, "Utah Figure Skating Club gets into holiday spirit."
