COPPER CUP PRACTICE ICE
OFFICIAL NOTES
· Welcome to Copper Cup 2008! We are pleased to welcome you to the South Davis Recreation Center and wish you all a wonderful competition!
· All practice ice sessions with music
are being held on Thursday, July 10th as indicated in the competition announcement and on the official practice
ice entry form. Each skater has been assigned a complimentary additional practice
session on their day of competition (either Friday or Saturday), courtesy of the Utah Figure Skating Club. Music will NOT be allowed on the complimentary sessions. The
sessions on Saturday are 20-minute sessions due to the competition schedule…please notice that there is no other time
on Saturday to hold practice ice sessions.
· Music will be played ONE TIME ONLY for
each skater on a practice session. Skaters will draw for their order of music
as they sign in for practice ice. If a practice session is designated as “Short
Program”, only short program music may be played during that session (due to time constraints). There will be a 5 minute warm up before any music is played.
· As indicated in the official announcement,
there are no refunds for practice ice.
· Ice resurfaces are built into the practice
ice schedule, explaining the 15-minute break between some sessions.
· If you would like to be added to a session,
or have any questions, please call Liz or Kristina Struthwolf. Additional sessions
are $10 for 30 minutes.
